Every day Ari is at the club with her family, helping, training or providing support to the Nippers. This assists the transition of Nippers to the Cadet and Senior area of the club as it maintains the connection with the club. Ariane attends every carnival supporting the kids whether as a patrolling member, providing water cover or to motivate the team.    Ariane is an active volunteer in Christies Beach SLSC’s ‘Schnippers” Program which is an entirely volunteer run after school Nippers program for 55 school children who may not have the resources or access to join in regular Nippers with a full membership to the Club.

Future female Surf Life Savers need to see young role models that demonstrate skills and capabilities to which they aspire. Ariane completes all her scheduled patrol hours and then picks up hours for others. This supports the community and demonstrates positive outcomes young surf life savers have in the community.  Young members like to see, hear and be like their close peers. Having Ariane support Schnippers, Nippers and at Carnivals creates a strong link within the club helping retention and improving overall water safety for the community.
