The Ruby Tuesday Foundation is developing and co-designing programs in partnership with a number of local Adelaide public primary and secondary schools.
These programs include grants, scholarships, funding support, connection and awareness for children and youth from 8 – 15 to assist with:
The Foundation is set to release its first pilot programs in 2023 with partnership schools in classes of year 6 students.
The Foundation will develop teaching resources that build on the story of Ruby and our core values being fun loving, kindness, inclusion, respect and gratitude into the programs.
Along with the integration of the Foundation’s story and message, the programs will create opportunities for disadvantaged children and youth to participate in activities including arts, dance, music and other sporting and recreational pursuits over the course of the school year.
We believe in the creation of ‘wow’ moments for the children and youth over the course of each school term with our long term goal of being known for our impact in supporting and connecting disadvantaged children and youth with possibilities.
We want to build on young people’s strengths through kindness and respect and ensure all disadvantaged children are given the chance to SHINE.
The Ruby Tuesday Foundation walks together with the traditional custodians of this nation. In doing this we acknowledge and pay respect to elders past, present and future, and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
